Davido  took to Twitter to post about the new house he got in  Banana Island  with money made from singing about “banana falling on someone”. The house, located in the exclusive highbrow area of Lagos, features a private lift, something the singer says he’s always wanted. After sharing videos showing the interior of the house on Instagram, he took to Twitter to write: “Moved to a banana with the money I made from singing about bananas falling someone …. Cruise.”

Popular Nigerian rapper,  Zlatan Ibile  has shown immense love to  the name of the mother of his son, Davita, with a new tattoo of her name on the left side of his abdomen. Recalls the singer revealed the identity of his son to celebrate Children’s Day on Wednesday. Zlatan Ibile  also shared a photo of his child’s name inked under his elbow. Popular Nigerian police officer, Abayomi Shogulne, recently took to his page on micro-blogging platform, Twitter, with a narration of what happened between an intending couple. The police officer in his posts disclosed that the couple had slated their wedding for the second week of the coronovarius lockdown. Due to the laws against social gathering, the groom’s family also suggested that things should be kept on a low with just 10 family members in attendance. However, the bride’s family refused the offer and opted for an indefinite postponement of the ceremony. To make things easier, the groom also requested that his wife-to-be should move into the house with him. Again, his request was denied by the family members of his woman. Davido’s personal assistant, Aloma DMW recently addresses how he feels about being referred to as a ‘houseboy’. He revealed this in an Instagram live chat, saying that she doesn’t understand why people label him as such and all efforts to stop them have failed. Aloma stated that he cannot change people’s perception about him and he has started overlooking the ‘houseboy’ tag and  that being a houseboy to the wealthy singer is way better than being employed as a bank manager. The Police Command in Delta has confirmed the death of a 60-year-old U.S. citizen in the state, due to suspected complications arising from COVID-19. The state Commissioner of Police, Hafiz Inuwa confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Warri on Sunday. N AN gathered that the 60-year-old woman was in Nigeria to visit her male friend. She was kept in a hotel in Warri for sometime before relocating to another hotel around Orerokpe. “ While they were together for about a week, the woman was coughing and having difficulty in breathing and stooling. “So, she was taken to a hospital on Saturday when her condition became worse and eventually died,”  Inuwa  said. He said the male friend is with the Police in Orerokpe. The Police Commissioner said that he had drawn the attention of the Commissioner for Health in Delta to the development, in order to contact the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in view of the symptoms developed by the deceas
