Veteran Reggae musician, Majekodunmi Fasheke, aka  Majek Fashek  has been hospitalised at Queen’s Hospital, London, for a serious illness and may need financial assistance to pull through. The manager of legendary reggae star, Uzoma Day Omenka has confirmed the report that the singer is gravelly ill and receiving treatment at a hospital in London, England. According to Omenka,  Majek Fashek  became gravelly ill last month and was rushed to London on August 24, 2019 after a brief admission at a Lagos hospital. Xenophobia: Don’t think of retaliation against South Africa – Pastor Adeboye

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has warned Nigerians not to think of retaliation against South Africa in the wake of Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians. Adeboye, who spoke at the September Holy Ghost Service of the church held at the Redemption Camp, Ogun State, said retaliation would not be the best option but to leave everything for the government to handle.  “I need to make an appeal, please listen. Onyi Adaba reveals her marriage to Actor Ken Erics 'has been over' for the past 10 months

Ken Erics and his "estranged" wife, Onyi Adaba seem to be enmeshed in marital crisis as he reportedly abandoned his marriage for the past 10 months.  Onyi disclosed this while reacting to rumour of Blossom Chukwujekwu and Maureen Esisi's marriage ending on grounds of infidelity.  In an Instagram exchange with a follower, Onyi Adaba revealed that she has been subjected to pain and trauma for the past 10 months as her husband Ken Erics abandoned their marriage and moved out of their apartment.  See screenshots below;  She has also struck out her "Mrs" title, reverting to Miss Onyi Adaba.  The couple got married in Enugwu-Ukwu, Anambra State on the 28th of December 2017. Xenophobia: Looting of shops owned by foreigners continues in South Africa, 300 Nigerians register for evacuation

Looting of shops owned by foreigners seem not to be ending any time soon in South Africa as the country's police announced that it arrested 74 persons in Katlehong on Thursday September 5, bringing the total number of arrests since the violence erupted in Johannesburg to 497. Mathapelo Peters, South African police spokesperson confirmed that the looting of shops owned by foreigners which began on Sunday September 1, have continued till date. He stated that they are on high alert and monitoring the situation.  Peter also said that 11 people have been killed since the xenophobic attack and looting of shops began in the former apartheid country. Comedian and filmmaker, Ayo (AY) Makun, knocked Nigerian leaders over their response to the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. The 48-year-old made the rebuke in an  Instagram  post on Thursday, Igbere TV reports. “So many toothless barking dogs that will never bite…. you know why? Many of them are stakeholders in the South African businesses that they stole our money to be a part of in Nigeria. #sanctionsouthafrica,” The South Africa High Commission in Nigeria has  shut down  its offices and consulate for fear of reprisal attacks by youths. Acting High Commissioner, Bobby Moroe, said on Thursday that he had directed the mission to suspend all consular activities until the situation improved. The Federal Government’s envoy will on Thursday arrive Pretoria to speak with President Cyril Ramaphosa on the xenophobic attacks on foreigners in South Africa, especially Nigerians.
